Our evening runs start in four different locations, as per the details on the Spond app.


Group 1 meets outside the Hammerton Store on Great Western Road.

Group 2 meets at the top of Salisbury Terrace

Group 3 meets outside the Kitchen Shop over the road

Group 4 meets outside Davidson's Chemist 

We try and gather as quietly as we can, to not disturb the neighbours

The groups each have a run leader, and begin with a run briefing, detailing the planned route, and a 5-minute warm up walk

Please let the leader know if it is your first time.

MONDAY - 7PM

On Mondays we have four groups, leaving from the Hammerton Store at 7pm.

Groups 1 & 2 - will cover around 5k, going at a pace around 6 to 6m30 min/km (9.5 - 10 min/mile). 


Groups 3 & 4 will commence our "Back to 5k" programme, beginning with a 3k run/walk on 15th March, and gradually building up over the coming weeks to 5k.  

These groups are suitable for anyone who can run that distance.

WEDNESDAY - 6AM

On Wednesday morning we alternate between a hill rep session, and lamppost sprints.


For the hill reps, we begin with a 2k warm up run, and then do a "pyramid rep" on Gray Street, before a 1km run home.  It's suitable for all, and is great for improving your strength, stamina and fitness

The lamppost sprints follow a route around Forbesfield Road and Burns Road, with the intention being that you increase the pace between alternate lampposts, and recover in between.  Again, an excellent session for improving your fitness and speed.

FRIDAY - 6AM

On Friday morning at 6am, we plan to have one 5k group, and one "back to 5k" group starting with 3k on 19th March and building back up to 5k over the coming weeks.
