Foodbank Run

We have been asked if we can help support Aberdeen Cyrenians, and have agreed to hold a “Foodbank Run” next Monday 5th December.

This is part of a national campaign amongst running groups

Aberdeen Cyrenians advise that they are well stocked withpasta, soup and teabags - but anything else would be fantastic.

They are also really short of toiletries, specifically men's and women's shower gel, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes.

So, next Monday, bring along donations in a bag, and each of the groups will run down to the Cyrenians from the Hammerton, and drop off the items, before continuing our run from there.

Whatever you can bring, big or small, it will be gratefully received.  And if it’s too much to run with, share it out or leave it in my garden and I’ll take it down separately.

Wear as much purple as you can, as there might be photos taken while we are dropping off.

The Cyrenians are also part of the “Big Give” where any donations between 29th November and 5th December will be doubled.   You can donate here
