FLJs at Run Balmoral 5k & 10k

You’ve worked hard to get there. Now come and join Team FLJ for the best party in Deeside as we take on the Balmoral 5k or 10k on Saturday 22nd April 2023.

This is what you’ve been training for, and the opportunity of a great day out, a medal, and an amazing party is not to be missed. 

We will be taking an FLJ party bus, leaving Aberdeen at 10am, getting you right to the castle in good time for the 5k starting at 12.30. 

You’ll then be free to celebrate with an afternoon of bottomless prosecco, while the 10k runners set off at 2pm. 

The bus will then leave between 5 and 6pm to head back to Aberdeen.

The Harbour Energy 5K all takes place on estate tarmac roads. The race begins heading west from the Castle adjacent the river Dee to a turn point at the Highland Pony Stud. There is a slight incline as the route returns to the castle via the “top road” which has magnificent views of Balmoral Castle and gardens.

Although there will be some speedy runners there, the events are suitable for everyone, and I can absolutely guarantee that you will not be last.  

There are also primary and secondary school races for the children.
