Mari-Anne Runs Balmoral for British Heart Foundation

We are all looking forward to Run Balmoral - and for many of us, simply reaching 5k will be an incredibly special opccasion. However for Mari Anne Maskew, the culmination of all her hard work through the Couch to 5k programme has even greater meaning.

In 2019 her amazing colleague, Scott Gordon suffered a serious heart attack (thankfully, he is now on the mend). Mari-Anne, together with the Aberdeen and Inverness offices of CityFibre (yes, those guys we have to thank for the obstacle courses we encounter on the surrounding streets!) have decided to take part in Run Balmoral to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.

Mari -Anne admits she has NEVER been one for running but having started her training with the Fit Like Joggers, it's all go!!

If anyone would like to help them smash their target for the British Heart Foundation, who are assisting Scott with his rehabilitation - all donations however big or small are most appreciated
