FLJs on hold for COVID 19

And now, the end is near...

And so I face the final curtain...

And with that, in line with government advice on social distancing, and guidance from Scottish Athletics, we have to draw a temporary close on the Fit Like Joggers.

It’s been a blast. We’ve had 9 couch to 5k groups, 4 Run Balmorals, 3 santa runs, 2 quiz nights, one barbecue, hundreds of runners, even more bottles of prosecco and endless good times

Friendships have been made, adventures have been had, and we have all achieved more than we ever expected of ourselves, and of those around us.

Thank you for being part of the story to date. To our runners and to our leaders.

But this is not the end. Just an intermission.

During this time, I’ll try and post up a ‘Daily Run’ and a Strava link to a route. Its still good to get out, and we’ll probably need it more than ever.

It will be up to you whether you go out in groups, stick to FLJ times or just run solo.

Do keep posting though. Our special community will be more important than ever.

I’ll miss you more than you’ll ever know. It’s been so much a part of my life for over four years.

Signing off (for now)

But back soon. I promise
