FLJs are Back

It's been a long summer, with all FLJ runs and events cancelled.   But we are delighted to advise that with effect from Monday 12th October, we have resumed our group runs. Things will be a little different to before.  Scottish Government regulations and Scottish Athletics guidance allow us to run together in groups of up to 15 people, provided we comply with certain measures.   Social distancing and the wearing of face masks can be suspended for the duration of the run.  That doesn't apply before or after, so when we meet, and finish, we will need to wear face coverings and comply with the 2 metre rule. We also need to maintain a record of those attending, for Test and Trace purposes, so it means that everyone will have to sign up in advance.   This way we can also manage group sizes. Our groups will be easing you back in gently.  Initially, we will have a steady 5k group, as well as one or more groups covering 2-3k at a walk/jog pace, gradually building back up to 5k again.

Bear with us as we deal with the changes, but it is great to be running again.
