FLJ update - 14th November

Happy Monday everyone.

Hope you all had a great weekend?

A few things to mention:-

To everyone who came along or bought raffle tickets at the race night on Thursday. We raised over £1,300 on the night for the club. Raffle prizes can be collected from my house after the runs this week

To all our Couch to 5k runners, who were awarded their certificates, medals and T-shirts on Thursday. Those who weren’t there can pick these up from me after the runs on Monday and Wednesday this week

Sophie has arranged a plogging session this Sunday. Meeting at the Cults Hotel at 9.30am for a short walk / run and helping tidy up the neighbourhood. Suitable for everyone and the pets, kids, grandparents…

The annual Santa Run raising money for Charlie House HQ takes place on Union Street this Sunday 20th, at 5.20pm. It’s only a mile but a fun event while supporting a good cause. Would be great if we got a crowd from the club to go along.

Charlie House are looking for some running marshals to be part of the event. If you fancy helping out, (while still getting to run) then please get in touch with me. They need 4-6 people on the day

Our annual Christmas Prosecco run will take place on Wednesday 21st December. It’s a great night of festive outfits, Prosecco flowing and then a celebration of peoples achievements over the year. Pop it in your diaries

If anyone lives within 2k of the Hammerton and would be willing to host us as a stop off point for half an hour, then please get in touch 🙏

Our main fundraiser for the club is the Brewdog run, and the next event is on Wednesday 28th December.

If you can help out on the day then please let me know. Looking for people to marshal on the route and to be at the finish in Ellon.
